When the world is destroy by a destructive event, Gus who is half boy and half deer join group of human and mix human species and find answers. So ten year ago "The Great Crumble" destroy the world. But due to this destructive event there is mysterious babies born who is half human and half animal. It is not sure that hybrid is due to the virus. Because of this type of hybrid species, many humans fear and hunt them.

After a decade of living safely a boy name Gus is born who is half boy and half deer become friend with Jepperd. After that they are going for an extraordinary adventure to find left of America. But their story is full of unexpected allies and enemies. And finally Gus learns that there is more dangerous world outside the forest.
